Edmodo for PLTW - Digital Electronics

Edmodo is a web-based platform that provides a safe and easy way for your class to connect and collaborate, share content, and access homework, grades and school notices. It is like Facebook but in a safe and  controlled environment appropriate for school.

I will be using Edmodo, along with other online assets to assign and collect homework, collaborate with my classes, and announce upcoming events.

Students

  • View homework assignments and due dates
  • Send messages to me or the class; comment on an assignment
  • I will be available to answer questions via Edmodo until 8 pm M-Th nights.
  • Submit assignments

Set Up a Student Account

Go to www.edmodo.com
  1. Click the STUDENTS tab   
  2. Type our unique code: 7fqrdm in the Group Code field, then create your unique username and password. 
  1. Select Sign Up For Free.  That’s all there is to it!


After you sign up, you will no longer need the unique code – you’ll log in using your unique username and password.

Parents

  • Send messages to your child and/or me
  • View homework assignments and due dates

Set Up a Parent Account

Go to www.edmodo.com
  1. Click the PARENTS tab   
  2. Type your unique code in the Parent Code field, then create your unique username and password. If your child has not provided you with your unique code, feel free to contact me for it. 
  3. Select Sign Up For Free.  That’s all there is to it!

After you sign up, you will no longer need the parent code – you’ll log in using your unique username and password.
